Pre-treatment Care Advice

If you are scheduled to undergo an endovenous laser procedure to treat your varicose veins, relax, this procedure should take approximately one hour and will be performed in the clinic. The following simple instructions will assist you in preparing for your procedure:

1. Ask a friend/relative to drive you to and from your appointment.  While the laser procedure will not impair your ability to walk, we advise you not drive for 24 hours following the procedure.
2. You will be advised whether or not you need to bring compression stockings with you.
